Your information.
Handled with care.
Who is responsible.
MACNABSPORTING LTD, company no. 17334322, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. For privacy requests, email travelmacnab@mail.com.
Information you provide.
Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, enquiry type and message. You may also provide a telephone number, preferred travel period and number of travellers. We use these details to respond, discuss travel options and, where requested, prepare a proposal or arrange a booking.
Please do not send payment-card details, passport scans or medical information through the initial enquiry form. Where further information is needed for a booking, we will explain what is required and how to provide it.
Why we use the information.
We process enquiries and booking information to take steps you request before entering a contract and to carry out agreed travel arrangements. We also process relevant records to meet legal obligations and for legitimate interests such as keeping business records, handling queries, protecting the website and dealing with complaints or claims. Optional marketing requires a separate appropriate basis; submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Who may receive it.
Enquiries are stored through our website form system and sent to the Macnab Sporting business inbox. Website, hosting, security and email service providers process information as needed to deliver those services. If you ask us to arrange a trip, relevant information may be shared with the accommodation, transport, golf and activity providers needed for the proposed or confirmed arrangements.
Travel suppliers may be in South Africa or other destinations involved in your itinerary. Before collecting or transferring additional information for a booking, we can explain the intended recipients and applicable safeguards. Ask us if you would like more detail about a particular arrangement.
How long information is kept.
We keep information for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry or booking and relevant follow-up. Retention also takes account of accounting and legal obligations, unresolved matters and the period during which a complaint or claim may arise. You can ask us about the retention criteria applying to your records.
Website operation & cookies.
WordPress and the website’s hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and security or access logs to operate and protect the site. Essential session or security cookies may be used where needed for those functions. Administrator sign-in uses separate WordPress authentication cookies.
The redesigned site does not add advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, embedded social-media feeds or externally loaded font services. Links to Instagram and external property brochures open those providers’ own sites, where their privacy and cookie policies apply.
Google reCAPTCHA.
The secure enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated spam. On our contact page, you can choose whether to load that form or contact us by email or telephone instead. Loading the form connects to Google, which may process device, browser and interaction information and use cookies for the service. If you open the dedicated enquiry-form page directly, reCAPTCHA loads there.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking necessary form or security functions may prevent the form from working.
Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict its use, object to certain processing or request portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or deal with claims.
Contact us first so we can address your request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent data-protection authority where applicable.
Changes & questions.
We may update this information as our services or website change. The date above identifies this version. For questions about the information collected through this website or the services used, contact travelmacnab@mail.com.
